During the Academy addressed issues related to ultrasound of the thyroid gland. The discussions commented on topics such as: postoperative follow-up of patients with thyroid cancer, painless thyroiditis, drug-induced thyroid pathology, ultrasound evaluation of cervical lymph nodes, ultrasonography of the parathyroid glands and others.
