The Children’s Rights Coalitions Meeting is intended to build on the discussions and learning from the meetings in Berlin (1998), Stockholm (1999), Vilnius (2002), Brussels (2005), Bucharest (2008) and Florence (2010).

It is envisaged as a two days interactive seminar followed by a training day. The first two days aim to share experiences in children’s rights advocacy, monitoring and networking while the training day is envisaged to strengthen the participants’ capacity in advocacy, strategic and operational management of coalitions and public communication.

The Regional Meeting of Children’s Rights Coalitions in Europe will bring together representatives of national, regional and European coalitions and networks as well as representatives of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child, the European Commission and other relevant children’s rights organizations and welfare bodies.
